After conquering the rap world, Solomon is now headed in a new direction musically. The singer-songwriter is not only pursing an alternative pop sound but is genre-bending with his new single The Way We Were. A play on the 1973 Sydney Pollack film, the single will be released July 2nd on iTunes with the accompanying lyric video featured on VEVO July 4th.
Since his last single release, "Life Goes On..." which spent 3 months on the front page on iTunes Dance and went #1 in Germany and Denmark, with the help of Lady GaGa's remixer Chew Fu, Solomon has been in the studio writing and producing for other artist along with creating his debut album, Why Boy's Cry. Not only focusing on his album, which will drop late Fall 2013, Solomon prepares for the next phase of his career. Founded in 2008, SolRay Records is Electronic Hip-Pop singer songwriter Solomon's record label. The first four years Solomon was the only artist on the roster. However in late 2012 Solomon began consulting, songwriting and producing for various artist including rapper Rob.B in conjunction with Solomon's publishing company SolRay Music. The first artist signed to SolRay Records is up and coming pop singer Wilson Knight and out rapper Rob.B. 2013 will see the release of Wilson Knight's debut single and mixtape along with Rob.B's latest efforts.
