Filming on Season Two of NBC's musical dramedy series SMASH wrapped late last week and a group shot of the cast and crew has now been posted online.
Depicting stars Katharine McPhee, Megan Hilty and more, the cast and crew congregate in front of the illuminated "SMASH" marquee that makes up the logo for the show, prominently featured in the title sequence (and, now, opening credits sequence) on the series.
SMASH has not yet been renewed for a third season, but a dozen episodes still remain to be aired from the second season, so there is still a lot to look forward to for fans of the theatre-themed series in the coming week.
While the second season of SMASH has not managed to have the same impressive numbers as much of Season One, the return of reality singing competition The Voice as a lead-in beginning later on this month should help bolster the numbers for the show, which have remained squarely around 3 million viewers per episode since the S2 premiere.
Of special note, SMASH is the number one network show in the highly-sought demographic of households earning more than $100,000 per year. Yet, with the price of theatre these days, that cannot come as too huge a shock!
SMASH airs Tuesdays at 10 PM on NBC.
