His is one of the most iconic voices of all time, a voice that can be recognized instantly. Frank Sinatra, "Old Blue Eyes," would have turned 100 later this year, and Nashville's storied War Memorial Auditorium is excited to celebrate Sinatra's birthday and Valentine's Day with a one-of-a-kind commemorative experience: Sinatra Forever on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 8:00 p.m.
Special VIP packages and tickets are on sale now at WMARocks.com, by phone at (615) 782-4030 and at the TPAC Box Office, 505 Deaderick Street, in downtown Nashville.
This one-night-only commemorative event features an interpretation performed by Rick Michel, one of Las Vegas's premier singers and impersonators, who channels Sinatra through his spot-on vocals of the legendary crooner.
"I think Frank Sinatra was the most articulate of all the pop and standard singers," said Michel. "He made songs his own by uniquely phrasing the words to wrap around the melody line like no one else before him or since."
Michel delivers a can't-miss performance, which has earned him national praise, including from Variety, which called Michel "the closest thing to Sinatra we have ever heard." Backed by a 24-piece orchestra comprised of Nashville's best musicians, Michel will entertain audiences as he reminisces about the life and music of Sinatra for this romantic evening.
The unforgettable night, presented locally by Jack Daniel's, will feature cabaret-style seating, special desserts, and more. It will be the best place to celebrate Valentine's Day and Frank Sinatra's 100th birthday with friends, family, and loved ones.
