SHRINE guests will be able to continue the party throughout the weekend of July 4, as patrons will be treated to an Independence Day party on Friday, July 5. SHRINE partygoers can keep the jams going at the nightclub's "Forbidden Friday" on July 5 with DJ Joshua Carl and special party guests brought in for the occasion.
The late night hotspot will also offer their newly released bottle specials to kick the weekend off the right way. Belvedere Magnums will be available for $400, while customers who purchase a bottle of champagne will also be treated to a complimentary bottle. Landing his first residency in 1997, DJ Joshua Carl was known as one of the first DJs to know no musical genre boundaries with a knack to always keeping the crowds on their feet. Returning to a completely different scene than he had left after a tour in Iraq, he threw a knuckleball to the DJ community, bringing in the art of video and taking the industry to a whole new level. With vinyl controlled video he was able to still mix in his same head-turning style, but now clubs had a new element they never had before. With the development of video remixing he has become one of the top tier video DJs in the scene, as well as constantly producing his own music video remixes for the VJ community.Tickets may be purchased in advance and online at www.ShrineMGMFoxwoods.com, by calling 860.312.8888, or by visiting the MGM Grand Box Office.
