SHAED Announces Spring Tour Dates with X Ambassadors

DC's soulful electro-pop trio SHAED are thrilled to announce a run of West Coast and South West dates supporting X Ambassadors on a leg of the JOYFUL tour this May. The 11-show stretch will see the band performing at venues like The Orpheum in Vancouver, BC and House of Blues in Anaheim, CA before wrapping at Stubb's in Austin, TX.

News of the Spring run comes on the heels of the trio's SOLD OUT performance at Union Stage this past weekend - a part of DC Music Download's 6th Anniversary celebration - and as momentum continues to build, vocalist Chelsea Lee and twin brother producers/multi-instrumentalists Spencer and Max Ernst show no sign of slowing down. The Washington Post recently declared "a tight band gets tighter, and a big sound gets bigger" in regards to the band's melody-first approach and ability to craft dynamic genre-bending soundscapes on new tracks like "Too Much" and "Lonesome," joining glowing press from NYLON, Billboard, Interview Magazine, and many more.

Following a highly-successful headline tour this past December, SHAED have been busy at their home-studio, writing and recording music for a forthcoming release due out this year. When Lee and the Ernst twins aren't at home writing, they're on the road further honing in on their craft. Since the release of their debut EP Just Wanna See in 2016, SHAED has spent time touring with the likes of Marian Hill, Bishop Briggs, Sir Sly andForeign Air, and in 2017 the band made debut appearances at The Billboard Hot 100 Festival, Firefly, Mamby on the Beach, Electric Forest, and Summerfest.
