Romance, Soul & Rock 'N Roll invites you to a Musical Flashback directed by Ted Concepcion with musical direction by David Pickard at The Colonial Theatre on October 25 and 26 at 7:30pm. Now in their 12th year, RSRR promises that this year's show, with live band and multi-talented cast, will be just as exciting and entertaining as ever!

Tickets to Romance, Soul & Rock 'N Roll are $20. Contact the Colonial Ticket Office at 111 South Street, Pittsfield by calling 413-997-4444. Tickets can also be purchased online at www.berkshiretheatregroup.org. The Ticket Office is openMonday-Friday 10am-5pm, Saturdays 10am-2pm or on any performance day from10am until curtain.

This year's show has a great selection of songs that practically everyone will recognize, and will want to sing along to, hence the title "Musical Flashback." Ted Concepcion and Ted and Melissa Campbell have choreographed fun and memorable dance numbers for a cast of 17 very talented performers. With musical direction from David Pickard, a live nine-piece live band (including a horn section) will accompany the production.

This is the fourth year that the group is performing to benefit the Colonial, which, according to director Ted Concepcion "is a gem of a theater and an extremely important part of the success of Pittsfield and Berkshire County as a place for people to visit as well as a destination for the local population to enjoy quality live local and visiting entertainers."

According to Berkshire Theatre Group Artistic Director Kate Maguire, "We are so grateful to Donna Vidoli and Ted Concepcion for donating the proceeds of their show to Berkshire Theatre Group for the fourth year in a row. This is a major contribution for us. Donna and Ted certainly understand the spirit of giving, and everyone who is involved with one of their productions, whether on the stage or in the crowd, can attest to that. Everyone has a wonderful time!"

"Our experience with The Colonial Theatre and now Berkshire Theatre Group has been wonderful," said Donna Vidoli, one of the producers for Romance, Soul, Rock 'N Roll. "From the first tour that Simon Shaw (BTG's Programmer) gave us of The Colonial, we have felt a connection with the theatre. To perform on The Colonial stage, where legends many, many years ago also performed, is truly magical! We take BTG's 'I Own A Theatre' to heart and we and our cast enjoy helping to support 'Our' theatre!"

The Colonial Theatre, founded in 1903, and Berkshire Theatre Festival, founded in 1928, are two of the oldest cultural organizations in the Berkshires. Having united in November of 2010 under the leadership of Artistic Director and CEO Kate Maguire, these two institutions are providing the Berkshires and beyond with the finest in Live Theatre, music, dance and the visual arts on five stages in Stockbridge, MA and Pittsfield, MA. The Fitzpatrick Main Stage (400 seats), cataloged by the National Register of Historic Places, was originally designed and built by Stanford White as the Stockbridge Casino in 1888. The intimate Unicorn Theatre (122 seats) is a home for emerging artists and new theatrical ideas. The Colonial in Pittsfield (780 seats) re-opened in August of 2006, following a $21 million restoration, and boasts pristine acoustics, classic gilded age architecture and state-of-the-art technical systems. BTG also performs at the outdoor Neil Ellenoff stage, located on the grounds of BTF in Stockbridge, and at The Garage, a music venue located in the lobby of The Colonial. BTG serves over 100,000 patrons per year and reaches over 17,000 students through its educational and outreach programs. For more information on BTG call (413) 448-8084.
