Robert Spano Conducts Atlanta World Premiere of DIFFERENT RIVER, 5/10-12

Robert Spano is set to conduct the world premiere of DIFFERENT RIVER at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra May 10th-12th. The concert will feature Leon Bates on piano.

The program features Alvin Singleton's "Different River," Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue," and Aaron Copland's "Symphony No. 3."

Music Director Robert Spano, currently in his 11th season as music director of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, is recognized internationally as one of the most imaginative conductors today.
