The Country Music Association and American Public Television's "Front and Center" have again teamed up for a brand new episode featuring performances from a special CMA Songwriters Series presented by U.S. Bank. The taping will spotlight rising Country stars Kane Brown and Luke Combs and will take place Tuesday, Sept. 5 at the Franklin Theatre in Franklin, TN. Doors open at 9:00 PM/CT and the show begins at 9:30 PM/CT. Tickets are available for purchase via the Franklin Theatre website.

The artists will be joined on stage by a selection of Country Music's hottest songwriters for a night of music and stories about the creation of some of the genre's best-known songs. Top tunesmiths taking the stage with Brown will be Tom Douglas ("Cold Spot" recorded by Brown; "The House That Built Me" recorded by Miranda Lambert; "God's Will" recorded by Martina McBride) and Josh Hoge ("Undone" recorded by Backstreet Boys; "Used to Love You Sober" recorded by Brown; "I'm Comin' Over" recorded by Chris Young). Combs will be accompanied by hit songwriters Thomas Archer, Ray Fulcher, and Rob Williford, all of whom had a hand in writing on Combs' This One's For You.

Brown made waves with Country's highest selling new artist album debut of the past two and a half years. He released his debut RCA Nashville/Zone 4 album in Dec. 2016, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart and Top 10 on Billboard's Top 200 All-Genre Album Chart. The 23-year-old singer/songwriter's impressive first week debut album showing was 2016's #4 all-genre best new artist debut, and his chart-topping debut, Kane Brown, is currently Top 10 on the Top Country Albums chart. Produced by four-time CMA Award-winning producer DAnn Huff and Matt McVaney, Kane Brown includes the breakout artists' Gold-certified Top 10-and-rising hit "What Ifs" featuring Lauren Alaina, which currently has over 69 million audio streams and more than 17 million VEVO/YouTube views to date.

With grizzled, soulful vocals, brazen songwriting talent and a dynamic live show, River House Artists/Columbia Nashville's Combs stormed onto the Country Music landscape in 2017 as a force to be reckoned with. Named an "Artist To Watch" by Amazon Music, Billboard, Bobby Bones, CMT, Huffington Post, NASHVILLE Lifestyles, Pandora & Rolling Stone, the 27 year-old Asheville, North Carolina native released his critically-acclaimed debut album This One's For You on June 2 which debuted at No. 1 atop the Billboard Country Albums Chart and is the largest debut Country artist release this year. Combs' debut Platinum-certified smash radio single "Hurricane" set Country radio history, topping both the Billboard Country Airplay chart and Mediabase chart for two consecutive weeks, and his new single "When It Rains It Pours" is currently Top 20 and climbing. A true road warrior, Combs sets out on his headlining "Don't Tempt Me With A Good Time Tour" this fall with stops in 25 cities.

Through the CMA Songwriters Series and "Front and Center" collaboration, an array of special episodes have been produced featuring the likes of Dierks Bentley, Lady Antebellum, Little Big Town, Jennifer Nettles, and dozens of top songwriters. Each episode features insider stories and explores the passion and motivation that have helped to create some of Country Music's biggest hits.
