Latin Grammy-nominated artist Ricky Remedy unleashes a fierce collection of trap productions on his Dim Mak debut EP Triage. Opening with "Road Rage (Go Stoopid)," premiered today on Run The Trap, Ricky teams up with Philadelphia's ferocious rapper Bok Nero to seamlessly merge the hip hop and electronic sides of trap. Ricky punches up the 808s and distorted synths on "PREE MI," keeping the energy flowing with the help of vocals from Yuneer Gainz. With one last flex, the EP is rounded out by a scorching bass house hybrid "Diamonds On Me."
The Triage EP arrives amidst a busy year for Remedy. His hip hop production was spotlighted as 2018 kicked off with a fresh remix of his Zoey Dollazproduced single "Mula," containing a new verse from Lil Wayne. Remedy brought his trap-fueled DJ sets to Steve Aoki's Kolony tour, as well as dates at Dim Mak Miami and Dim Mak Neighborhood: Brooklyn. Further showcasing his love of hip hop, Remedy teamed up with Sonny Digital for his original single "Did It" and linked up with Smokepurpp as his tour DJ for select late summer dates.
Known for his precise mastery of 808s, Ricky 'Remedy' Duran was brought up on the sounds & cultural styles of his Cuban heritage as well as a range of musical genres. Seamlessly navigating hip hop and EDM/trap scenes, Remedy has collaborated with and produced material for some of the biggest names in music including Travis Scott, French Montana, Lil Wayne, Diddy, Steve Aoki, Diplo, Rick Ross and Olympian Usain Bolt. On his latest EP Triage, Remedy continues his message of healing fans through music.
