Rich Badowski Band to Perform at at Bridge Street Live, 9/21

The Rich Badowski Blues Band evolved from a local blues jam. They are the winners of the 2012 Connecticut Blues Band Challenge and represented Ct at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN back in Jan of 2013. The Band brings to the table a hefty portion of old school blues. Add to that a little funk and you have a recipe for a good time. Rich Badowski has been blowing harp and singing the blues for over 25 years. He is known for his entertaining brand of showmanship and engaging rapport with the audience. Shawn Leonard the guitar player and second vocalist covers all styles of blues. The band is backed up by Paul Dabrowski on bass and Bryan Caudle on drums. Paul provides a solid groove and Bryan is known for being the master of keeping that "groove in the pocket."

Expect to hear some fantastic original music with covers of their favorite '40s and '50s blues songs and a touch of roots music, old time country, and funk.
