Saturday, July 7 brings the first of the 26th Summer Nights five Saturday nights of outdoor concerts and Congo-born musician and singer Ricardo Lemvo and his band, Makina Loca. Their unique and uplifting blend of Afro-Cuban rhythms infused with Pan-African styles, bright horns, fat bass lines, amazing percussion and melodies linger with audiences for days; be prepared for a street party that must be danced through!
The beautiful, intimate outdoor setting offers a dance floor on the turf with pre-concert dance class from Salsa Marin for this event. Pop up Restaurant from Marin's own El Huarache Loco offers dinners available for purchase. So bring a picnic or appetite, family, and friends. Kids 17 and under are FREE.
