Woods, a native of Florida who these days calls Lancaster home, has performed throughout the United States, as well as in Paris, Amsterdam and India. A versatile performer with a powerhouse voice, his eclectic musical style draws not only from musical theater and jazz, but from gospel and R&B. In New York City, he has been a co-founder of Bending Threads cabaret company, and has racked up credits off-Broadway as the soloist in Black Nativity and as Madame Parnelle/Big Jerome in Archbishop Supreme Tartuffe. Regional credits include Smokey Joe's Café, Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Seussical: The Musical (as Mr. Mayor), Dreamgirls, Guys & Dolls (as Nicely Nicely Johnson), and Little Shop of Horrors (as Seymour). In Lancaster, Woods is a regular with Lancaster's PRiMA Theatre, where he most recently rocked out in '80s Relived, and recently was Noah for Sight & Sound Theatres's Noah.
