Regional, Original Music at Milwaukee's Summerfest Will Feature New Stage Partnership Between Cascio Interstate Music and K-Nation Entertainment

For the seventh year in a row, Cascio Interstate Music, Wisconsin's largest music store and among the nation's largest independent music retailers, will again present Summerfest's only stage for local and original music, but in a new co-sponsor arrangement.

In a new stage partnership announced April 24, K-Nation Entertainment and Cascio Interstate Music will present 66 bands with eleven days of live, local and original music, with a focus on bands originating from Milwaukee and the surrounding region including Illinois, Michigan and Minnesota. Summerfest runs from June 26-30, and July 2-7.

"For the past six years, we have been proud to provide the Summerfest audience with a wide and varied selection of musical genres on our Cascio Music Stage," said Michael Houser, Cascio Interstate Music CEO. "We are pleased to continue this musical mission in our community with our great new partnership with K-Nation, to be able to help expose these fine bands to the large Summerfest fan base. We believe giving these talented artists the opportunity to play at 'The World's Largest Music Festival' helps them gain the recognition and exposure that they so richly deserve."

Summerfest, "The World's Largest Music Festival," takes place in Milwaukee on the shores of Lake Michigan. Summerfest 2013 will take place June 26 - 30 and July 2 - 7, from noon until midnight and will be closed Monday, July 1.
