Red Bull Music will launch the latest installment of their critically acclaimed international music series Red Bull Music Festival this Saturday, November 3rd in Chicago with Opening Night at Wintrust Arena. Chicago is the home to some of hip hop's most cutting edge artists and the event series will celebrate many of them, kicking the festival off with one of the largest RBMF events to-date. Legends, luminaries, and rising stars in rap and R&B will come together for an unprecedented ensemble performance and REVOLT will be on hand to capture it as a livestream.
With performances from sharp-witted lyricist Pusha T, the increasingly-imitated Chicago rapper Valee, R&B star Teyana Taylor, New York upstart Sheck Wes, and entrancing New Jersey songstress 070 Shake, as well as rap icon Nas, Red Bull Music Festival Opening Night will celebrate the past, present, and future of rap and R&B. You may never see all of these artists on the same bill in Chicago ever again.
Opening the night will be local poet and student at Whitney M. Young Magnet High School, Jalen Koboyashi, who read his original poem "The Zoo" at this year's March for Our Lives rally in Chicago.
The arena show will be designed by visual artist and longtime collaborator of Oneohtrix Point Never Nate Boyce, who will create a surreal universe that places the performers in the mind of the fan.

The inaugural Red Bull Music Festival Chicago will explore and celebrate Chicago's rich cultural heritage while spotlighting its modern music landscape. Red Bull Music Festival (RBMF) makes its midwest debut after six acclaimed installments in New York City and a 2017 Los Angeles festival, and will feature live performances, club nights and lectures at some of Chicago's most unique venues. The festival also marks Red Bull Music's return to the Windy City after 2017's 30 Days in Chicago.

In addition to the events, Red Bull Music will tell original stories from the Festival through their social channels, and Red Bull Radio (redbullradio.com) will feature select Chicago-focused programming, including event live streams and more.
