Warner Bros. Records (WBR) today announced that it has signed a global recording contract with renowned rapper Mac Miller, as well as with his record label REMember Music. Since beginning his career, in 2007 aged 15, Mac has released two studio albums, two EPs, and eleven mixtapes, and sold more than 5.4 million singles and close to a million albums.
Miller said, "The vibe over at Warner is dope right now. I'm excited to be a part of the future there. They understand what I'm trying to do."

Mac's 2011 debut, Blue Slide Park, became the first independently released debut to top the Billboard charts since Tha Dogg Pound's Dogg Food in 1995, and his sophomore LP Watching Movies with the Sound Off was released in 2013, hitting No. 3. He's also seen widespread success with his MTV show,

The Most Dope Family, and his collaboration with Ariana Grande, "The Way," which went double-platinum, hit the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and reached No. 1 on the iTunes Overall Top Songs Chart.
