Producer Jon Maguire, better known as ROOKIES, has collaborated with British pop act New Hope Club on the infectious new single 'Paycheck', out 30th August via Disco:Wax & Virgin EMI.
A catchy, modern pop ballad, 'Paycheck' delivers a blissed-out, carefree vibe that allows the impressive vocals of
New Hope Club to take centre stage. With vocals alluding to "living in the moment" and "waiting for the paycheck", it's a track destined to make it onto countless party playlists.
Emerging onto the scene in 2016, ROOKIES has been responsible for over a billion streams, working with mainstream pop acts like Dan Bastille, Liam Payne, Freya Ridings,
Sam Feldt and The Vamps. Despite largely staying out of the spotlight and maintaining a mysterious persona, ROOKIES continues to grow in popularity.
Made up of Reece Bibby, Blake Richardson and George Smith,
New Hope Club formed in 2015 and released debut EP 'Welcome to the Club' two years later. The band have been working tirelessly in the last few years amassing an incredible 73+ million streams across their previous singles and building a global fanbase.
Recently embarking on a 'Love Again World Tour', the group have played to sold-out crowds in Toronto, Hamburg, Los Angeles, New York, Amsterdam, Glasgow, Manchester and London. Looking ahead, the trio are poised to play a slew of UK dates throughout August,
September and October, including the Manchester Academy, O2
Empire Shepherd's Bush and Birmingham O2 Institute.
A masterful collaboration, 'Paycheck' could well be the start of something special for ROOKIES and New Hope Club.
