ROCK OF AGES Announces Times Square Super Bowl Boulevard Competition

Fans of the hit hair metal jukebox musical ROCK OF AGES will have their chance to share the stage and sing a tune with the ensemble of the Broadway production during NYC's Super Bowl Week in Times Square via a new competition just announced.

To participate, ROCK OF AGES fans are urged to create a 15-30 second video of themselves performing the iconic Journey anthem "Don't Stop Believin'" and submit it for evaluation. Then, five finalists will be selected from the participating entries.

Starting January 17, the fans themselves will decide who the ultimate winner of the competition is via social media voting.

The chosen entrant will have a chance to share the stage with the cast of ROCK OF AGES at the Super Bowl Boulevard performance on January 30 and sing the classic song as well as win two tickets to the show itself.

The official description of the ROCK OF AGES competition is as follows: "BIG NEWS Rock of Ages Fans. The NFL is taking over Broadway this winter with Super Bowl Boulevard (basically a crazy street party the week before the Super Bowl) and if you record your best rendition of DONT STOP BELIEVIN' and send it to us by going to this link http://woobox.com/vypws2 you could perform LIVE ON STAGE with the cast of Rock of Ages. Submit your video by 1/15 and the top 5 contestants will then go to a fan vote off to select the winner!"

It has also been announced that the cast will perform during the final hours before kickoff - at the official NFL Tailgate Party at the Grandstand at Meadowlands Racetrack and Game Day Fan Plaza outside of MetLife Stadium on Super Bowl Sunday, February 2.
