REO Speedwagon will perform at the 6th Annual SCHOOL ROCKS! benefit concert on Thursday, October 25th, 2012 at Chicago'sHouse of Blues. 100% of the proceeds will provide scholarships and community support to inner-city students at San Miguel School Chicago.
VIP ticket holders will enjoy a pre-show reception and private concert featuring singer and songwriter Ryan Silver. The evening heats up for all guests with sets from DJ A.T., followed by REO Speedwagon's classic rock and power ballads.
REO Speedwagon has sold 40 million records worldwide with chart topping hits including: Keep on Lovin' You, Time for Me to Fly, Ridin' the Storm Out, and Roll with the Changes. The certified nine times platinum Hi Infidelity remains a high-water mark for rock bands.

SCHOOL ROCKS! celebrity co-chairs include: JY Young of STYX; rock legend Jim Peterik; Pete McMurray, WLUP 97.9 The Loop; and Larry Wert, President and General Manager of NBC 5/WMAQ-TV Chicago. Kevin and Anne Allodi co-chair the benefit concert.
During the evening, San Miguel will present its Leadership in Education Award. Past recipients include U.S. Secretary of EducationArne Duncan, Kathleen and John Buck, Mike and Pat Koldyke and Mrs. Lina Abraham.
