RCA Inspiration celebrates four total nominations across all top Gospel categories for the 2018 Billboard Music Awards, with double nominations in the category of Top Gospel Album. Chart-topper, Travis Greene, is honored with three nominations for Top Gospel Artist, Top Gospel Album, for his #1 GRAMMY®-nominated album Crossover: Live from Music City, and Top Gospel Song for his #1 hit, "You Waited." Greene won his first Billboard Music Award last year, for Top Gospel Song in recognition of "Made A Way." Chart-topper Marvin Sapp is honored with a nomination for Top Gospel Album for his #1 GRAMMY®-nominated album,Close. Greene and Sapp each continue to crisscross the country with various tour dates through this Spring.

The Billboard Music Award nominees are selected via a combination of radio, touring, and other measurements tracked by Billboard and its data partners over a 12-month period. The 2018 Billboard Music Awards will be held in Las Vegas on Sunday May 20th, 2018, and air live on NBC at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT.

The "2018 Billboard Music Awards" are set to make their NBC debut and will broadcast live from MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 20 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT. The three-hour telecast will feature this year's hottest musical acts, biggest performances, unexpected collaborations, buzzworthy pop culture moments and will celebrate the 60thanniversary of the Billboard Hot 100. "Billboard Music Awards" nominees are based on key fan interactions with music, including album and digital song sales, streaming, radio airplay, touring and social engagement, tracked by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Music and Next Big Sound. The awards are based on the reporting period of April 8, 2017 through March 31, 2018. The "2018 Billboard Music Awards" is produced by dick clark productions. Allen Shapiro, Mike Mahan, Mark Bracco, Barry Adelman and Robert Deaton are Executive Producers.
