The first set of performers for the 17th Annual LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS include current nominees Banda Los Recoditos, Farruko, Laura Pausini, Prince Royce, and Carlos Vives. Jamaican reggae and hip-hop artist Ky-Mani Marley and Mexican singer and composer Gerardo Ortiz also join the eclectic lineup for what's sure to be an incredible evening for Latin music. The Biggest Night in Latin Music will air live on the Univision Network Nov. 17, from 8-11 p.m. ET/PT (7 p.m. Central) from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Puerto Rican reggaeton singer Farruko and multiple Latin GRAMMY and GRAMMY winner Carlos Vives each received two nominations: Farruko is up for Best Urban Music Album for Visionary and Best Urban Song for "Encantadora." Vives is nominated for Record Of The Year and Song Of The Year for "La Bicicleta."
Latin GRAMMY winners Banda Los Recoditos are nominated for Best Banda Album for Me Está Gustando. Latin GRAMMY and GRAMMY winner, Laura Pausini is nominated for Record Of The Year for "Lado Derecho Del Corazón," and Prince Royce picked up a nomination in the Best Tropical Song category for "La Carretera."
Once again, LatinGRAMMY.com will offer exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage of the 17th Annual LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS via Latin GRAMMY en Vivo. "Noche De Estrellas" will feature live interviews and commentary on the stars and their fashion, and will provide viewers an intimate look at Latin music's most glamorous event while connecting fans with their favorite celebrities via social media.
The 17th LATIN GRAMMY AWARDS is supported by Univision Radio (the official Spanish-language radio network of the Latin GRAMMY Awards) and highlighted at www.latingrammy.com and www.univision.com/latingrammy, which will feature video interviews and photos, an extensive archive of past shows, a live-blog, and dedicated forums for fans to share their excitement leading up to the live broadcast.
