Pop-Soul recording artist Meecah bursts onto the music scene with her new single, "Dream" featuring Slim Pudge. The song is a musical wonderland with elements of R&B, Pop and Soul. It is included on Meecah's new EP New Moon Rising. South Bronx, New York rap artist Slim Pudge opens "Dream" with a polished verse expressing his wish to win Meecah's heart. His advances are avowed when he raps, "Sometimes I get the thinking about you. You got that thing that drive them boys crazy, and baby I'm not trying to live without you." Listeners quickly realize Meecah shares a similar sentiment. She croons her desire to give him a shot in a charming manner. The story line and upbeat melody creates a harmonious amalgam of R&B/Pop.

Meecah's EP New Moon Rising is a cohesive blend of her musical influences. The 21-year-old singer shared the music video for single, "Pilots" last April as a preface to the EP, but "Dream" will introduce it to a larger audience. "I just want to share my talent with more people," said Meecah when asked about the single.

The Florida native has embraced opportunities to sing since performing in her church choir at the age of three. As a teenager, she played the role of Ruth in Lorraine Hansberry's A Raisin in The Sun and was mentored by the Grammy, Emmy, Tony award-winning composer, Marc Shaiman. Meecah was also awarded a $10,000 cash prize after winning Caribbean Idol aboard Celebration Cruise Line. Those accomplishments and musical traits passed down from her father, who worked with the Funk/Soul band The Commodores affirms her potential as an artist.

"Dream" gives Meecah a chance to elevate her fan base. Stream "Dream" on SoundCloud now. Her EP New Moon Rising is available for purchase on iTunes.
