Pop Duo The Bliss Shares GOT THE LOVE Image

Atlantic Records has announced the release of "Got The Love," the eagerly anticipated debut single from pop duo The Bliss. "Got The Love" is available now via all digital music retailers and streaming services; the track is joined by an official music video, which premiered this morning on Billboard and is streaming now via YouTube HERE.

"Got The Love" marks the first official release from The Bliss, a remarkable new pop force comprised of visionary producer Felix Snow alongside acclaimed electro songstress Chelsea Davenport (a.k.a. TYSM). Known for his ingenious electronic vocal manipulation and rule-breaking popcraft, Snow drew attention and streams well into the hundreds of millions for blockbuster tracks with Kiiara, SZA, Icona Pop, and the enigmatic Terror Jr. A chance encounter with the Texas-based Davenport began a special producer/artist collaboration on such singles as TYSM's 2017 "Honeymoon Phase," earning millions of streams as well as applause from the likes of The FADER, which declared it to be "another gem from Felix Snow and Effess Records," further praising the track's "distorted vocals and animated feel" and noting, "(Snow's) camp has found another young star."

As Snow and Davenport continued writing and recording together, a gut intuition inspired the formal introduction of The Bliss. Underpinned by live elements such as rich guitar, grooving bass, and slick drums, the duo have created a euphorically creative modern pop that unfolds with dynamic dimensionality as it blurs the lines between magnetically nimble melodies and unpredictable indie invention. The first of a series of upcoming releases, "Got The Love" leaps forward on a wah-ing funked-up riff, glitchy harmonies, and a swaggering beat before snapping into an ecstatic chant, highlighting Davenport's otherworldly sense of soul.

"The song poured out of me in like ten minutes after hearing what Felix did," Davenport says. "I was trying to write about how even though you care about someone in the beginning stages of a relationship, you might still hold on to things that hurt you in the past. To me, the song is about letting go of all your past loves and allowing a new thing to happen."

"Our definition of music is bliss," says Snow. "It's pretty simple, yet completely honest. We followed our intuition versus following intellect. Hopefully, you experience the same feeling listening to it that we did making it."
