Playhouse on Park Welcomes The Amanda Carr Quintet 2/11

For one night only, Playhouse on Park will welcome the Amanda Carr Quintet. 

About the artist: "Performing "Songs from the Heart" chosen the Great American Song Book, Amanda Carr is a multi-talented pop-jazz vocalist and pianist from Boston, whose fresh interpretation of the classics has received critical acclaim across the country. Having recorded and performed for over three decades in the U.S. and Italy, Carr is a seasoned artist with credits including an Emmy Nomination, headlining the EuroJazz Festival in Italy with James Moody and George Mraz, and recording live with the Trio Martinale, amongst many others."

In addition to the show, to top off the evening, audience members are invited to enjoy wine and cheese in the lobby before showtime, as well as a special dessert reception after the performance. Guests are also encouraged to take the floor with a dance, if they so wish.

The Quintet takes the stage Saturday February 11th, 2012 at 8:00pm at West Hartford's award winning professional theatre, Playhouse on Park, 244 Park Road.
