London's Pizza On The Park has announced the final schedule for the venue before its closing on June 17. Performers will include Karen Akers, Andrea Marcovicci, and Steve Ross.

From June 1 to June 6, Pizza On The Park will present Andrea Marcovicci Celebrates Johnny Mercer. One of America's finest lyricists, multiple oscar winner Johnny Mercer collaborated with our best composers including Hoagy Carmichael, Harold Arlen, Harry Warren, Richard Whiting, and Henry Mancini creating hits for Sinatra, Garland, Bing Crosby and Fred Astaire. Marcovicci illuminates the man behind the music and uncovers the giddy, pensive, heartbreaking and impish lyrics crafted by Mercer. Highlights include: Ac-Cent-Tchu-Ate the Positive, Dream, That Old Black Magic, Autumn Leaves, One for My Baby (and One More for the Road), Too Marvelous for Words, and Moon River.

Karen Akers will be performing Akers Sings Porter: Anything Goes from June 8 to the 13. Akers is one of America's more arresting and successful concert and cabaret stars. She is the recipient of the 2005 NY Nightlife Award for "Outstanding Female Cabaret Vocalist in a Major Engagement" and the 2008 "NY Nightlife Living Legend Award." Ms. Akers has appeared in many prestigious venues worldwide, including Carnegie Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, and New York's premiere nightspots such as Café Carlyle, Rainbow & Stars, Le Jazz Au Bar, and now makes her Manhattan cabaret home at The Oak Room at The Algonquin Hotel. She has taken her music to the south of France, London's Pizza on the Park, to Russia and Barcelona's Opera House.

An Evening With Steve Ross, running June 15 through 17, will close out Pizza On The Park with songs by Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Stephen Sondheim and Noel Coward. Ross is a fitting final act for the venue, as he was the very first to perform there in 1982.
