Pirates Press Resurrects Hologram Vinyl on Black Friday

Resurrecting a lost art that hasn't been seen over 30 years, Pirates Press have announced the latest in a long line of innovative vinyl products - a Hologram vinyl single. Out on Black Friday (November 23) the single is the first use of new proprietary technology that blows the original design out of the water, making it truly the first of its kind.

Only available at 7" size for now, the hologram side of these impressive records is playable, as the grooves, carrying "Gotta Be Cool, the comeback single by New Jersey punk band The Ratchets, lay underneath the holographic image. While only a handful of titles were originally produced with the original method, the revival of this technology means that new releases in this medium are right around the corner.
