The event took place on Saturday, Sept 14th, in Morgan's hometown of Dickson, TN. All proceeds benefit Billy's Place, a component fund of the Dickson County Craig Morgan Foundation. The organization's primary goal is to assist foster children in Dickson County and throughout Middle Tennessee.
The day kicked off with an exhibition from several major motocross celebrities includingJimmy Albertson, Destry Abbott, Fred Andrews, Brett Cue, Randy Hawkins,Andrew Short, and Larry Ward, followed by a group trail ride and lunch.
Later that evening, fans were treated to an intimate concert from Morgan, which also featured performances from music friends
Aaron Lewis and Tate Stevens. Truly a family affair, Morgan's daughter, Aly joined her father onstage for the first time ever, singing "We'll Come back Around," from his new album The Journey. The night also featured a live auction with items including a one of a kind hand painted Fly Racing helmet by Josh Gray, a trip to Hawaii, and a Turkey Hunt with Craig on his TV show bringing in the top bids.
"Having fostered here in Dickson, Tennessee, Karen and I have experienced firsthand the need for an organization like Billy's Place," says Morgan. "Now that we've established 501(c)(3) status for the Dickson County
Craig Morgan Foundation you'll see a lot more events throughout the year like 5k runs, bowling tournaments, and wine tastings, in addition to our annual off-road trail ride and concert, to raise money to establish Billy's Place here in Dickson County."
Next up is the
