This past Friday, May 3, The Tenors performed at The NYCB Theatre at Westbury. Their PBS special has been airing on WNET TV 13 and WLIV TV 21 in the tristate area, and pledge people were treated to a wonderful evening of music, and some even a Meet and Greet with the singers after the show. Broadwayworld was there to cover it and brings you photos below!
Since their inception just five years ago, The Tenors have been thrilling audiences worldwide with their powerful voices and memorable melodies singing a blend of classical music and contemporary pop. Victor Micallef, Clifton Murray, Remigio Pereira, and Fraser Walters have performed on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" (with Celine Dion), for Her Majesty The Queen during her Diamond Jubilee at Windsor Castle, the live broadcast of the 2011 Emmy Awards in LA, at the opening ceremonies of Vancouver's 2010 Olympics, and for the NBA, MLB, and NHL All-Star Games. They have shared the stage with Sarah McLachlan, Neil Young, Paul Anka, Justin Bieber, Paul McCartney, Brian McKnight, David Foster, and Natalie Cole among others.
For their new concert tour of the United States, The Tenors will draw selections from their new album, Lead With Your Heart, as well as some of their past hits.
Originating from all over Canada with roots as diverse as their music, these four young men bring their incredible voices and instrumental talents together on stage to create music from their hearts. For more about The Tenors, visit www.TenorsMusic.com.
