Phebe Starr Shares 'They Keep Telling Me' Video w/ Ladygunn + EP Out Now

Known for her dream-like soundscapes and ethereal vocals, Australian electro-pop starlet Phebe Starr drops her much anticipated Chronicles EP. Today, she shares a new video for "They Keep Telling Me" with LADYGUNN in celebration of release. About the video, Phebe comments: "During the writing of this EP I was reflecting on where I grew up 'Dorrigo' Australia and how unique my childhood was. When it came to making this video I wanted to capture the raw feelings and emotions of my life experiences but I couldn't seem to work out how to do that in a conventional way that was authentic. It wasn't until I went home for Christmas that I stumbled across a box of home movies. I started to play around and edit them for fun. I was moved by the rawness of them. Home movies are so transparent. The next thing I knew I was making a series of videos for my EP. I guess this is something I always find myself doing, making art from whatever is around."

A six track collection that ebbs and flows from vulnerability to boldness, Chronicles is complicated, multi-dimensional, and at times, intriguingly off-kilter. A richly autobiographical EP, it retraces the fantastic journey of how she arrived to where she is now, and how she came to understand whom she wanted to be.

Anchored by her critically acclaimed single "Feel My Love" which garnered over 2.5 million streams and counting, it sees Phebe Starr emerge with a career-defining work.
