Phantasm's newly released album was created in response to our current social, political and religious climate. The band got their title "Three Men Make A Tiger" from an old Chinese proverb that references an individual's tendencies to accept absurd information as long as it is repeated by enough people. This motivated reasoning can lead to a false social consensus over time. "Three Men Make A Tiger" challenges the listener to question what they believe is true or false and most importantly why.

In the debut music video "Lock And Key", the full meaning behind their newly released album is brought to light. Director Jay Yachetta pulls no punches in demonstrating people's innate instinct to believe ideas that are validated by others with use of social, political and religious symbolism. In the video a charismatic and psychotic cult leader unveils a prophecy to his two followers that "a tiger is coming." The cult leader subjects his followers to a ritualistic hazing to demonstrate their devotion to his prediction. Ultimately, they become consumed by their blind faith which ends in their violent demise. This story reveals the dire consequences of following without question and it only takes three men to make a tiger.

Phantasm originally hailed from the Buffalo, New York music scene and later expanded their tour efforts throughout the rest of the United States. As lyrically stated on their first EP from 2005. "From now on we're doing things our own way." Their music is fueled by powerful messages of acceptance, open mindedness, adventure, taking chances, going with the flow and being unafraid to go against the grain. Musically, Phantasm is used to doing exactly what they want, they have stuck to this mantra for the past 12 years, and it has opened up a successful career for them.

"Three Men Make a Tiger," has been released digitally by Ridge Recording. Preview the new material at http://www.phantasmmusic.com/over-and-over.
