Paul Weller's New Single MOVIN ON, Available Now On Parlophone/Warner Bros. Records

Paul Weller released a new single entitled "Movin On"from his eagerly awaited forthcoming album True Meanings, set for global release on September 14th.

True Meanings is Weller's fourteenth solo album and twenty-sixth studio album during his incredible career and the first new music since 2017's internationally acclaimed album A Kind Revolution.

The lush, string-laden "Movin On" is out now and showcases Weller's vocals at their very best. The track came about as the result of a "scratchy demo" on his phone that was sent to producer Tom Doyle of the White Label project, who co-wrote the track with Weller along with fellow White Label cohort Anth Brown (who also contributes bass to the track).

Talking about this process, Weller explains: "I'm never, ever too proud to give a song over to someone else, to see what they might be able to bring to it: that's what it's about really, I always want to see what people can add to my ideas. The older you get, and the more stuff you've done, the more important that is."

"Movin On" follows another new song from True Meanings, "Aspects", which was released onMay 25th to mark Weller's 60th birthday.

Weller recently announced two exclusive live shows at London's Royal Festival Hall on October 11th and 12th , which sold out immediately, where he and his band will be accompanied for the first time by an orchestra. Special guests are also expected to appear both nights. In addition to the Festival Hall Shows, Weller has announced additional shows in the U.K. and in Europe.

True Meanings will be released on the following formats:

CD - housed in a 'soft-pack' gatefold card wallet with 12-page booklet.

Deluxe CD - Limited, deluxe edition CD in a casebound book package, including a 28-page booklet of photos and lyrics.

Vinyl LP - Double heavyweight black vinyl LP, housed in a gatefold 'tip-on' sleeve, with 8-page booklet fixed inside the sleeve, plus a download card. The tip-on sleeve is limited to initial orders only.

And it will be available to Download and Stream via the usual digital outlets.
