Following an initial extension last year, Paul Chowdhry has added another round of extra dates to his first nationwide tour in two years, with his new show Live innit. Following a virtual sell out of the entire tour so far, including a performance at Wembley Arena (which saw Paul become the first Asian stand-up to play a sold out show there) and two nights at Hammersmith Apollo - marking him as one of the UK's biggest selling live comedians - the new dates will see Paul revisit some of the UK's most prestigious venues, including a return to Hammersmith Apollo from 4th April 2018.
Following the spectacular success of his previous sell out nationwide tour - 2015's three times extended, 100 date PC's World - Live Innit sees Paul addressing love in the cyber age, trolling the trolls, and an unfortunate case of mistaken identity. Paul said "the first leg of the tour was epic. At one show, a man got ejected, then tasered, arrested and charged by the police and I smashed off a part of my tooth. They were unrelated, but you gotta hype it up. I had such a great time that the tour has now been extended - cos it's Live innit."
Live innit is Paul's third nationwide tour, following PC's World, and 2012's What's Happening White People, which was recorded for DVD at a sold out Hammersmith Apollo and subsequently aired three times on Channel 4. On TV, Paul hosted Stand Up for the Week (Channel 4), and has twice headlined Live at the Apollo (BBC One/Two). Recently he was also a contestant on the third series of Dave's multi-award nominated hit show Taskmaster, presented by Greg Davies and Alex Horne, and featuring guests including Frank Skinner, Al Murray, Katherine Ryan, Noel Fielding, and Mel Giedroyc. Paul appeared four times on Channel 4's Comedy Gala, alongside comics including Lee Evans and Michael McIntyre, and has also regularly appeared on shows such as 8 Out Of 10 Cats (Channel 4), Very British Problems (Channel 4), and Celebrity Squares (ITV). As an actor, he has appeared in films alongside John Malkovich, Martin Freeman, Ewan McGregor, Anna Friel, Thandie Newton, Jerry Stiller, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. Online, Paul is also a prolific presence on social media, and his videos have been viewed over 35 million times on Facebook.
