Backstage at the Lincoln, the Lincoln Theatre's intimate, local concert series, has scheduled three additional concerts to round out the 2014-15 season. This series offers concertgoers the extraordinary opportunity to be seated on stage with a featured local artist, providing an up-close-and-personal performance set against the hand-painted grandeur of the Lincoln's rare Egyptian Revival-style motif.

The schedule is as follows:

January 22 - Paisha Thomas and Ingram Street
March 5 - Debra James Tucker
April 16 - Adria Shahid

Tickets are $10 and seating is limited. All concerts begin at 7pm at the Lincoln Theatre (769 E. Long St.). Tickets can be purchased at the CAPA Ticket Center (39 E. State St.), all Ticketmaster outlets, and www.ticketmaster.com. To purchase tickets by phone, please call (614) 469-0939 or (800) 745-3000. Tickets can also be purchased at the door on the night of the show if still available.

The Backstage at the Lincoln series is made possible through the generous support of the Greater Columbus Arts Council and Ohio Arts Council.

Singer, writer, and entertainer Paisha Thomas is an Ohio native with a background in gospel choir and ensemble performance. She has appeared locally in The Springtime of Our Lives, Songs of Struggle with Bill Cohen, and has been a guest singer with Willie Phoenix and Brian Clash. Thomas and her band will release their first album in the spring of 2015.

Hailing from Columbus, Ingram Street is a pop/R&B duo consisting of brothers Woody and Minquel Ingram. Early in their careers, the brothers joined vocal group Up 2 Par, releasing two EPs entitled For the Love and Here We Go. Woody and Minquel have now formed the duo known as Ingram Street, and have had the opportunity to perform at renowned venues such as BB King's in NYC, and on the same bill with Cocoa from R&B group SWV and neo-soul sensation Eric Roberson. Ingram Street singles "Free" and "Don't Disturb This Groove" will be on their upcoming LP release entitled Escapism.

The unique style of jazz vocalist Debra James Tucker is a product of extensive training in jazz, classical, and gospel music. She has appeared in the Theatre des Westens production of Porgy and Bess, sung backup vocals with Michael Bolton, and has performed at the acclaimed Quasimodo jazz club in Berlin. She has appeared with Opera Columbus, the Columbus Symphony, and countless jazz artists, recording with saxophonist Vince Andrews and keyboardist David Ornette Cherry. A graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, Tucker has been an artist-in-residence with Short Stop Youth Center and Days of Creation-Arts for Kids. She wrote and performed Survival of the Boulevard Singer which earned an Ohio Arts Council Award for Individual Excellence. She has also been a visiting professor of music history at Denison University.

Columbus-based vocalist Adria Shahid exhibits a youthful jazz/neo-soul undertone and creative high energy in her songs based on life experiences-failures, forgiveness, success, and love. Shahid has shared her musical talents across the US and beyond, traveling as far as the Caribbean Islands and Quebec. She is also a songwriter, composing for up-and-coming independent artists as well as herself.
