The Pablo Ziegler Trio won the 2018 Grammy® Award for "Best Latin Jazz Album" with their exciting release Jazz Tango (ZOHO). Ziegler, who honed his piano and composing skills working with legendary fellow Argentinian Astor Piazzolla, continues developing the style of Nuevo Tango. As a celebration of their Grammy-award-winning album, Ziegler's Jazz Tango Trio will be playing a shared program with the Chano Domínguez Trio at the Highline Ballroom, as part of the Blue Note Jazz Festival on June 26 in New York City.

On Jazz Tango, pianist/composer/arranger Ziegler presents his US-based trio of world-class Argentinian collaborators Hector Del Curto (bandoneon) and Claudio Ragazzi(guitar). They play three Nuevo Tango standards by Astor Piazzolla and seven soulful, virtuosic originals by Ziegler. It also represents a historic first for the
genre of Nuevo Tango, as the first major Grammy® win for a Nuevo Tango recording. This year's 2018 Grammy® Award for "Best Latin Jazz Album" further highlights Ziegler's pioneering forward momentum.
Fresh off the 2018 Grammy® win, Pablo Ziegler releases his first solo piano album for Steinway & Sons. Solo Pablo Ziegler comprises brand new arrangements of Ziegler's nuevo tango pieces, as well as some new compositions and works by Astor Piazzolla, Alejandro Dolina, and Juan Carlos Cobián.
