Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) is proud to present famed Johnny Cash & Patsy Cline performers Terry Lee Goffee and Josie Waverly starring on stage together in the Cash & Cline Tribute Show on Saturday, Oct. 3, at 8 p.m.
Enjoy the music of the world's greatest country legends live with classics such as "Crazy" and "Walkin' After Midnight," by Patsy Cline, and hits like "Ring of Fire" and "Folsom Prison Blues," by Johnny Cash.
"I wanted to make my show different and unique by portraying Johnny Cash in the first person, rather than just standing there singing the songs," explains Terry Lee Goffee who plays Cash on stage. "Like an actor in a play, I literally become my character and in this case, Johnny Cash, from the moment I walk on stage until the end of the show."
Goffee is widely recognized as one of the best Johnny Cash impersonators around. In fact, Goffee portrays Cash's look and sound so authentically that he was selected to officially represent Johnny Cash in the popular video game, "Guitar Hero 5."
Music performer and entertainer Josie Waverly stars as Patsy Cline. Waverly has performed all over the country as a headliner as well as an opening act for many of Nashville's leading entertainers, including Tim McGraw, Charlie Daniels, Loretta Lynn, Rascall Flatts, Keith Urban and many more.
With Patsy Cline's early hit songs like, "Walkin' After Midnight," "Lovesick Blues" and "There He Goes" through her final recordings of "Crazy," "Leavin on your Mind" and "Sweet Dreams," Waverly's captivating performance as Patsy Cline is sure to leave you feeling as though you traveled back in time and witnessed a true Patsy Cline concert.
