Combining the music of Elton John and Billy Joel on one stage, The Piano Men is a dynamic, interactive concert celebrating these two giants of pop music. The concert, which features two pianos facing off at center stage, features Broadway veterans Craig A Meyer ("A top notch performer!" Daily Variety) and Donnie Kehr ("Sensational," New York Post) accompanied by the all-star musicians and backup singers of The Rocket Band. Two pianos bring two impressive hit catalogues alive!

The Piano Men--A Tribute to Elton John & Billy Joel takes place on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 7:30 pm and Thursday, March 9, 2017 at 7:30 pm. Tickets are $29-$49, Premium $55; children and Students with ID $19. Parking is included in the price of the ticket. Harris Center is located on the west side of Folsom Lake College campus in Folsom, CA, facing East Bidwell Street. Media Sponsor for the lecture is Capital Public Radio.

Donnie Kehr is an accomplished actor, singer and musician. He is a Broadway veteran and has originated roles in award winning musicals such as, Jersey Boys, The Who's Tommy Billy Elliot, and The Human Comedy to name a few. And he enjoys playing is alter ego Broadways Billy Joel, with Almost Elton John's Craig A. Meyer, in their face to face show Piano Men.

Donnie's film credits include Clint Eastwood's film version of Jersey Boys, Oliver Stone's Wall Street, and Chaplin with Robert Downey Jr. TV credits include The Good Wife, Daredevil, Gepetto and 72nd Annual Academy Awards where he sang Blame Canada with the late Robin Williams.

Donnie has shared the stage with many musical icons including: Pete Townshend, Frankie Valli, Micky Dolenz, Debbie Gibson, Paul Williams and the late Leslie Gore.

Craig A. Meyer -he performed at Harris Center in 2015 as Almost Elton John to a standing ovation-has worked all over the country in theatre, film, television and music. On Broadway, Meyer created the role of Clinton Badger in MGM's classic Meet Me In St Louis and toured nationally in Cats as Skimbleshanks, The Red Caboose in Starlight Express, and Mike Nulty in Irving Berlin's White Christmas.

Meyer worked with Alan Menken on Disney's Aladdin, and with Tim Rice and Elton John on The Lion King. Other television and film appearances include guest starring roles on "Necessary Roughness," "Will & Grace," "Good Morning Miami," "Family Law," "General Hospital," and "Fernwood 2Nite." Film credits include Leatherheads with George Clooney and Renee Zellweger, Joyful Noise with Dolly Parton and Queen Latifah, and his latest project Identity Thief with Jason Bateman and Melissa McCarthy.

In music, Meyer has toured internationally and recorded with music legends Barry Manilow and Frankie Valli.

Throughout Meyer's busy career, he was repeatedly approached about his striking resemblance to Elton John and his uncanny ability to sound like the rock and roll legend. Meyer was eventually persuaded to expand his repertoire and began impersonating Sir Elton John, covering songs such as "Benny and the Jets", "Philadelphia Freedom", "Crocodile Rock," "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" and "Candle in the Wind." With his strong vocals, striking resemblance in both costume and charisma, and his amazing talent on the piano, he has audiences everywhere remembering when rock was young.
