Award-winning author James Andrew Miller, in partnership with Cadence13, proudly announce the release of three chapters of the popular podcast series, Origins.
"We see Origins as a big buffet table of our culture, with particular emphasis on television, sports, movies, music, and other elements I've reported on or simply love," says host James Andrew Miller. "These three upcoming chapters of Origins reflect our commitment to entertain listeners and provide new insights from the most essential individuals involved."
Chapter Three, premiering August 8th, Origins of a Champion: Nick Saban and Alabama's Crimson Tide, answers the question, "Why have Nick Saban and his Alabama football team been so successful?" and features interviews with such key individuals as Alabama Head Coach Nick Saban himself, his wife of 45 years, Terry Saban, celebrated Alabama Strength and Conditioning Coach Scott Cochran, former Yankee manager and Saban observer Joe Girardi, Florida Atlantic University head football coach Lane Kiffin, former Alabama guard Barrett Jones, Alabama alumnus and former NFL quarterback Greg McElroy, and renowned ESPN correspondent Tom Rinaldi.
Chapter 4 of Origins debuts on September 12th, when the podcast goes behind the scenes of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE to reveal preparations for Season 44, including interviews with legendary producer Lorne Michaels, various cast members, and key personnel sharing stories and insights.
On October 24th, Origins Chapter 5 will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Sex and the City, by going back to the show's beginnings with Sarah Jessica Parker, Candice Bushnell, Michael Patrick King, along with other cast members, writers, and key figures to discuss the show's cultural phenomenon.
"Following the enthusiastic response to the first two chapters of Origins on CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM and ESPN, we're very excited to take this series to the next level with three strong and surprising new stories. Origins has been a perfect programming model for an audience that loves to learn and be entertained at the same time," says Chris Corcoran, Cadence 13's Chief Content Officer.
