Operation Chillout announces its 3rd Annual Festival to Benefit Homeless Veternans. This year's event will be held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 from 11:00 am till 8;00 pm at Vasa Park in Budd Lake, NJ. This special benefit and concert helps fundOperation Chillout's Homeless Veteran's Outreach Program and focuses awareness of the plight of tens of thousnads of homeless veterans living in the United States. In New Jersey alone there are reported to be nearly 8,000 homeless veterans. Many live on the street and endure acute PTSD or chronic illness of body, mind and spirt. Veteran homelessness is now the fastest growing sector of the homeless population and is escalating as our young trooops return home from their military service tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Vets Fest 2013 will feature many great regional bands, delicious food and beverages, merchandise vendors, a vintage car and motorcycle show, military displays and great family fun. Operation Chillout (OCO) is an all-volunteer 501 (c) non-for-profit organization and donations are tax deductible to the amount allowed by law.

OPERATION CHILLOUT (OCO) was founded in December 2000, when a number of Vietnam era U.S. Army Vets were found living under a bridge in Dover, NJ. OCO has been responding to the needs of homeless Veterans ever since. Over its 13 years OCO has provided free relief supplies valued at more than a million dollars. OCO provides year round outreach in 13 New Jersey Counties, 4 Eastern Pennsylvania Counties with a growing presence in Rockland County, NY.
