Spotify - in partnership with Live Nation, and Presented by Hilton, today launched the second episode of Music Happens Here, an original music and travel video series which examines some of the most iconic places around the world where music has been created, performed, and celebrated. The latest episode features London, where music genius is perpetually born and never dies. From Bob Marley seeking refuge in Chelsea after an assassination attempt that later inspired Exodus to The Police's fateful run in with, well, each other on the underground, to the evolution Pink Floyd, Ed Sheeran and David Bowie's transformation into Ziggy Stardust. Every one of these artists has a ground breaking, career-defining, right-place-right-time moment that happened in London.

Another cool highlight from the episode is OneRepublic's storytelling session at Abbey Road studios, which features the band recording their own rendition of "Champagne Supernova" by Oasis. Recently, select Hilton Honors members redeemed their points to attend this unprecedented event.

The Music Happens Here Spotify series is part of Hilton's larger music program with Live Nation and The Recording Academy, which provides Hilton Honors members with access to top concerts, private meet-and-greets with chart-topping artists, one-on-one artist experiences, and exclusive concerts at Hilton hotels/resorts and in iconic music landmarks.
The inaugural episode and Music Happens Here experiential music event was in Los Angeles. Hilton Honors followed up LA with an exclusive OneRepublic concert in Abbey Road Studios London and with Aloe Blacc in New Orleans. Throughout the remainder of the year, Hilton Honors members will also have access to once in a lifetime events alongside the episodes with some of the world's biggest artists in Nashville (Lady Antebellum) and New York City (TBA artist). The rest of the series will showcase major music cities Chicago, Seattle, and San Francisco.
Look out for additional episodes to roll out throughout the year.
