With ample amounts of ambition and creativity, this epic 2-minute track spanned a total of 9 months in production and seamlessly bridges techniques uncommonly brought together in film. The music video ties effortlessly with the thematic premise of the song; demonstrating the depressive elements of repetition - we see our protagonist unable to break free of his own routine.
The clip was shot using a complex mathematic formula (admittedly not the studio's strongest trait) and 360 pan motion control rig that rotated within their custom-built 5-room set. This set was practically a small house built within the studio - tiling the bathroom walls, wallpapering the others and sacrificing the studio beer fridge to fit the colour scheme.
This week Oh Yeah Wow head off to France to screen Easy Way Out at the world's biggest animation festival -Annecy International Animation Festival.
