Norwegian pop songstress Iselin has released her new single, 'Lost'. A deeply personal track, it's the follow up to her debut, 'Bathtub', released in June.

Heartfelt and affecting, 'Lost' builds through swelling, emotional verses into stripped back and honest choruses. Delicate, sweeping synths accompany Iselin's vocals amid subtle production and infectious hooks, with haunting and poignant lyricism striking a touching chord.

"Lost is probably one of the most personal and emotional songs I've ever written," says Iselin. "That terrifies me a bit to be honest, but at the same time it feels good to release something that just came straight from the heart. I wrote it with the amazing songwriters and producers Mad Fun (Fanny Hultman & Madeleine Eliasson), and it was a very special day for me in the studio. I think and hope the song speaks for itself, but mainly it's about letting go of something that meant a lot to you, and how it affects you in so many ways when you know that part of your life is over."

'Lost' is Iselin's second solo release, following her debut single, 'Bathtub'. Inspired by the same muse of honest lyricism that permeates her writing generally, the track was written about an emotionally tumultuous period of her life, and formed her own personal therapy. Throughout her writing, Iselin strives to create a universal and personal message that can be shared by her audience.

'Lost' and 'Bathtub' are the first releases from Iselin after she provided the vocals for Alan Walker's huge hits 'Faded' and 'Sing Me To Sleep'. Now returning with a wealth of new material, it's clear that Iselin is ready to secure her place as a powerful new musical force.
