Noelle Scaggs of Fitz and the Tantrums Releases Solo Single 'Great for You'

Elektra recording artist Noelle Scaggs has unveiled the sultry, alternative-pop balled, "Great For You" (Feat. BRÅVES). The single - her major label debut as a solo artist - is available now at all streaming services and DSPs.

Best known for her larger-than-life voice and magnetic stage presence as the co-frontperson of multiplatinum group Fitz and the Tantrums, Scaggs is also an accomplished songwriter, having co-written many of her band's hits including platinum singles "The Walker" and "Out Of My League."

Stepping out as a solo artist, Scaggs said: "People are used to seeing me as this very energetic, fun loving woman on stage. They rarely get to see the more emotional side of me. With 'Great For You,' I hope to give listeners a peak into my own personal journal, my vulnerability, my experiences in love and lost that they can connect with."

Scaggs spent much of the past two years writing and recording with various songwriters and producers across her current homebase of Nashville and native Los Angeles, during breaks from a hefty touring and promotional schedule with Fitz and the Tantrums. For "Great For You," she collaborated with LA-based trio BRÅVES, comprised of brothers Thorald and Issac Koren along with producer Johnny What. Scaggs and Fitz and the Tantrums are currently writing and recording music for their fourth full length album and follow up to 2016's self titled release which featured the chart-topping, 2x-platinum smash "HandClap."
