NLV Records drops another free download HERE - this time one of Nina's own productions - "Contagious' featuring Mad Decent's Snappy Jit; a bass heavy, tribal track that is certainly as infectious as it's title would have us believe.

From the very first spin, "Contagious" is a straight up booty-dropping classic - Nina's latest flex seamlessly blends a pulsating, killer bass hook with pitched-up, steaming vocals - augmenting classic genre rhythms to create a dancehall inspired, club-ready cut. The relentlessly pulsating kick drum and energetic claps act as a bombastic underpinning for Snappy Jit's sizzling refrain and even during the breakdown, the ethereal synths leave the listener hungry for the tune to drop once again. The undulating energy and drums throughout ensure that Nina manages to maintain momentum until the very last beat and proves her capabilities as a champion innovator of ground-breaking, new, electronic dance music.

Last month, Nina Las Vegas and Swick released Cool Sports EP via Fool's Gold, including two remixes courtesy of grime re-animator Iglew and LuckyMe bad bwoy Joseph Marinetti. You can find it here.

The groundbreaking Sydney DJ gave up her 10+year job responsibilities for triple j radio's long-running "House Party", "Mix Up Exclusives" last month to start up her own record label NLV Records and her own ecstatic, innovative "NLV Presents" tours. The recently crowned #girlboss announces the first batch of artist signings to the new label, leading with Melbourne house authority Lewis Cancut (check "Systems" HERE) , genre-bending DJ/producer Swick, "oblique club" pioneer Air Max '97, and industrial grime extraordinaire Strict Face together with Nina herself providing the foundation of the NLV Records family. More info on the official NLV Records website.

Her keen ear has kept her at the forefront of the Australian dance music scene helping to foster and break emerging talent. Swick is Melbourne's own well-shaken can of bubbly fizzy drink whose body-moving bonafides include oiling up J-Lo's "Booty" with Diplo and a deeeeeep discography of experimental club bangers. These two OZ OGs have combined forces for Cool Sports, a hyperactive three-track EP of laser jams, tweaked pop, FIFA club, and assorted power-ups that will leave you sweaty, smiling, and fiending for more.
