Nick Jonas Drops New Track 'Home'

Nick Jonas is lending his musical talent to the upcoming animated film Ferdinand. He released a new track titled "Home" on October 20 which was previously previewed in a commercial for the movie.

The story follows "Ferdinand, a bull with a big heart which is mistaken for a dangerous beast. He gets captured and taken away from his home. He is then determined to return to his family as he assembles a eccentric team on the ultimate journey," stated as the synopsis of the film.

The optimistic track reflects the emotion of the lyrics. "Always out of place I knew I needed something new for me/ I never knew just what that was/ Finding something safe was just like trying to catch a bird in flight.../But now I won't let go because I'm happy to call this home."

This follows Jonas' guitar-heavy hit single "Find You" which are totally different from one another but equally as good. "Home" is a lighthearted pop track that's excellent for a animated movie.

The lyrics are easy to learn which is great for the younger audience but the strong hooks and memorable beat also make it mature enough for the older listeners to appreciate.

The movie comes out on December 15 and features a voice cast of John Cena, Kate McKinnon and Bobby Cannavale.
