Fradiani, winner of American Idol season 14, has taken some time since his debut to get reacquainted with his roots. In his home state of Connecticut, he returned to the soul of his craft, working on a melody and rhythm that truly represents his musical identity, and also serves as a testament to his growth as a singer/songwriter.
"When we got back into the studio, I wanted to find a way to express how far we've come and the direction we're headed," shared Fradiani. "These songs encompass the feelings I had as we created Where We Left Off and I hope that it shows."
In early September, Fradiani premiered the single "I'll Wait For You", an organic and timeless feel-good anthem that he said "is meant to be heard with the windows down." The music video, which shares real clips of deployed military troops returning to their beloved dogs back at home, premiered on American Idol's Facebook.
