The Morris Museum will kick off its Fall A La Carte Series with a dynamic performance by the New West Guitar Group. Featuring original compositions, pop covers, and a standard jazz repertoire, the concert will be performed in the Morris Museum's Bickford Theatre on Sunday, October 25 at 2:00PM.

The New West Guitar Group is a Los Angeles-based, three-person guitar ensemble comprised of graduates from the University of Southern California's Thorton School of Music. Formed ten years ago, the group has developed a wide spread reputation as one of the premier guitar ensembles in the world. Their signature sound comes from an innovative style that highlights rhythm, beauty and virtuosity with the acoustic and electric guitar. Praised as "sharp and refined" by the Seattle Times, the New West Guitar Group has toured throughout Europe, Asia, Canada, and the United States.

'Enthusiasts of jazz, classical, and musical theatre will be totally captured by the skill and personality of this fast rising guitar ensemble," said Eric Hafen, Director of the Bickford Theatre.

The New West Guitar Group is the first performance in the Museum's Fall A La Carte Series, which also features Naomi Miller's 'Love, Marriage, Children and Liposuction' on November 22 and piano virtuoso Thomas Pandolfi's 'Chopin: Shaken Not Stirred' on November 29.
