Legendary pops singer/songwriter Neil Sedaka will be in concert at The Ridgefield Playhouse tonight, October 19, at 7:30 p.m.Tickets include an open bar and hors-d'oeuvre courtesy of Bistro 7, Bernard's and Whole Foods Market Catering in the lobby at 6:45 p.m. Neil Sedaka not only recorded the mega hits "Calendar Girl", "Breaking Up is Hard to Do" and "Happy Birthday Sweet Sixteen", he also wrote them and helped create careers for other famous artists with the hit songs he wrote for them including "Love Will Keep Us Together" for Captain & Tennille and "Solitaire" for Clay Aiken. Neil Sedaka will grace the stage of The Ridgefield Playhouse on Saturday, October 19, at 7:30 p.m. Special guest is Karen Jacobsen, an Australian born New York based singer/songwriter who has a new release Take a Little Drive. For dinner-and-a show, Bernard's (22 West Lane, Ridgefield) is offering a special $45 prix-fixe menu, or a free glass of wine with dinner before this event, when tickets are presented; reservations suggested; opens at 5 p.m. Neil Sedaka is part of the Ridgefield Magazine's Broadway and Cabaret Series and is partially underwritten by Adam Broderick Salon & Spa and Campari America and is part of the Doyle Coffin Architecture Singer/Songwriter Series.

Neil Sedaka is a consummate musician, extraordinary vocalist and ageless songwriter. This Grammy nominee and multi-award winner keeps writing and performing, proving that Sedaka is back, or more aptly never left. Neil's brilliant career is brimming with musical compositions and performances of some of the most familiar hits to fill the American pop songbook.
