Natalie Nylon, a new, young recording artist who co-wrote songs: "Let’s Go (Dance)", "xx", and "Queen Bee", all topped the European DJ promotional charts at #1. These tracks twist and turn through Euro-style beats with a distinctly American pop sensibility. Its like if Katy Perry and DJ Tiesto got it on and made a beautiful electro-pop baby.
Natalie Nylon released her first full-length record “Out of Control”, independently on March 3, 2012. The first single, “Out of Control” which also opens the start of the record from Ms. Nylon is exotic. The song is a feel good dance floor anthem with electric-beats that ultimately take you to the club scene. Another track, “Queen Bee”, which spent several weeks at No. 1 on the European dance charts, catches your ears and makes you repeatedly sing the catchy chorus: “You want the pain, you want to be stung”. The record ends with ”Got Me”, a 70’s punk-disco vibe that leaves you yearning for more.
I have a very strong idea about what I want,” declares Natalie Nylon. That “strong idea” has translated into some impressive #1 hits?overseas for the sexy dance siren. This girl has got the goods to burn up any dance floor, and she’s?bound to be blaring in clubs worldwide very soon.
The Pennsylvanian native, grew up singing along to musicals such as Annie and Les Miserables throughout her childhood. Inspired by Lady Gaga, Jesse J, and Katy?Perry, this high-spirited belle decided then that she would one day strike the music industry, and she succeeded. At the age of 11, Natalie Nylon trained as a classical and musical theatre vocalist with coach, Susan Rheingans (Los Angeles Music Center Opera, New York Opera Forum) until her late teen years. Driven by the Philadelphia punk scene, she assembled and played bass guitar in her?first local punk rock band, Accident Prone, until moving onto others, such as playing keys and singing backup vocals in Kitty Kat Dirt Nap. Embarking on a new journey in Los Angeles, Ms. Nylon exposed herself to synthesizers as well as experimenting in recording music while joining a band called The Midnight Shakes and filming the reality?television show Rock Bottom on Fuse TV.
By 2010, Natalie started collaborating and recording with producer, Donal Finn and solo R&B/ Pop artist Miko. Miko was intrigued by Ms. Nylon’s voice when he discovered her myspace music page. The collaboration then led to the songs Let’s Go (Dance), xx, and Queen Bee which topped the European DJ dance promotional charts at #1.
