Internationally acclaimed bestselling author and songwriter Jeffery Deaver and writing partners Clay Stafford and Ken Landers have been nominated for a 2012 Hollywood Music in Media Award (HMMA) in the Best Country category. The nominated song "Near The Silver Mine" is part of the group's latest collaboration, based on Deaver's mystery/thriller novel, "XO." The HMMA winners will be announced at this year's event, which will take place in Hollywood on November 15.

The companion music recording "Jeffery Deaver's XO (The Album)” features 11 songs performed by renowned independent folk/Americana singer Treva Blomquist with lyrics penned by Deaver and music by songwriters Clay Stafford and Ken Landers. It marks the first release on the musical imprint of Stafford's Nashville based multi-media Production Company, American Blackguard.

"Near The Silver Mine” is the first single released from the album and like other songs in the novel contains clues that will help investigators determine where the killer is going to strike next. Readers can look for these clues contained in the songs as they read the book and join along with the detective or just enjoy the infectious country pop songs on their own.

In the novel "XO," the gorgeous Kayleigh, a Taylor Swift-type performer is rising to the top of the country and pop charts with her hit single "Your Shadow” and becomes the target of a crazed stalker fan. Listeners can download a free version of "Your Shadow” at www.jefferydeaverxomusic.com.

"Jeffery Deaver's XO (The Album)” featuring all 11 songs is available on iTunes, Amazon, Emusic and CDbaby.
