NBC's THE BLACKLIST Equals Its High Since January; Grows Week to Week

NBC's season finale of THE BLACKLIST (0.9/4 in 18-49, 4.9 million viewers overall from 10-11 p.m. ET)is close to rounding to a 1.0 (currently reporting a 0.945 in these prelim fast-affiliate ratings). Matches the show's highest 18-49 rating since Jan. 19 (1.0), last achieved on April 20, and delivers its most-watched episode since Feb. 23 (4.978 million), pending updates. Retains 100% of the prior hour in 18-49. Increases versus lead-in in total viewers, adults 25-54, men 25-54 and women 25-54. Grows +13% versus last week's 10 p.m. telecast in 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.8) and +1% in total viewers (4.903 million vs. 4.866 million) Ranks #1 in the time period among ABC, CBS and NBC in all key adult-male demos, despite special competition in the slot from the second hour of ABC's "Scandal" season finale.

Part 1 of the season finale of "The Blacklist" (0.9/4 in 18-49, 4.8 million viewers overall from 9-10 p.m. ET): Matches the show's highest 18-49 rating since Jan. 19 (1.0). Builds by +50% on its lead-in in 18-49 (0.9 vs. 0.6) and +1.5 million persons or +45% in total viewers (4.844 million vs. 3.352 million) Will grow dramatically via time-shifting and VOD: Last week's "Blacklist" increased by +83% in 18-49 (0.83 to 1.52) and +3.0 million viewers overall (4.9 million to 7.9 million) going from L+SD to L+3 The +83% gain was the biggest L+3 lift of the night on the Big 4 in 18-49 percentage. In L+7 so far this season, "Blacklist" has grown by +108% in 18-49 rating going from L+SD to L+7 (1.02 to a 2.12) and +4.4 million viewers overall (5.4 million to 9.8 million). Upscale: "Blacklist" is delivering a strong upscale audience, indexing at a 126 among adults 18-49 in $100K+ homes.

An encore telecast of "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" averaged a 0.6/3 in 18-49 and 3.4 million viewers overall from 8-9 p.m. ET.

In Late-Night Metered Markets Thursday Night: In Nielsen's 56 metered markets, household results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 2.0/5; "Late Show with Stephen Colbert," 2.4/6; and ABC's "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 1.9/5.

In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, adult 18-49 results were: "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon," 0.7/4; "Late Show," 0.5/3; and "Jimmy Kimmel Live," 0.6/3.

From 12:35-1:05 a.m. ET, ABC's "Nightline" averaged a 1.4/5 in metered-market households and a 0.4/3 in 18-49 in the Local People Meters.

From 12:35-1:35 a.m. ET, ratings were: "Late Night with Seth Meyers," 1.2/4 in metered-market households; CBS's "Late Late Show," 1.1/4. In the 25 markets with Local People Meters, averages were: "Late Night," 0.3/3 in 18-49; "Late Late Show," 0.2/2.

At 1:35 a.m., "Last Call with Carson Daly" averaged a 0.7/3 in metered-market households and a 0.2/2 in adults 18-49 in the 25 markets with local people meters.
