My Brightest Diamond is excited to announce a short West Coast headline run at the end of February 2019 that will be rounding out their Noise Pop Festival 2019 performance alongside Beirut, Bob Mould and Teenage Fanclub among others. The February tour follows a December North American trek with Stars and November European and UK trek with Ian Chang. The week-long February West Coast run has My Brightest Diamond visiting Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland and Vancouver where they'll be playing songs from their forthcoming new studio album A Million And One - out November 23rd via Rhyme & Reason Records.
For the new LP which is her fifth studio album, My Brightest Diamond's Shara Nova enlisted the help of Grammy-nominated producer Anthony "The Twilite Tone" Kahn (Gorillaz, Kanye West, Common) who worked closely with Nova on the production side, while Grammy-award winning engineer Andrew Scheps (Adele, Hozier, Lana Del Rey) mixed the 10-song set and Norwegian composer Helge Sten aka Deathprod mastered it. A Million And One was recorded in Detroit, Berlin, Paris, Chicago and NYC with the help of a number of incredible musicians including longtime drummer and collaborator Earl Harvin (The The, Air, Tindersticks), Air keyboardist Vincent Taurelle, guitarist and bassist Chris Bruce (Beth Ditto, Jose James, Jamie Lidell), guitarist Joel Shearer (Annie Lennox, Sarah McLachlan, Edward Sharpe And The Magnetic Zeros) and singer/pianist Thomas Bartlett (The National, St. Vincent, Rhye). In addition, Saul Williams contributes some guest vocals.
A Million And One was announced with the help of Rolling Stone and is available now for pre-order - click HERE.
